Service Design: 1 week Learning Sprint

Learn by doing. Working directly with a live project, we bring the learning to life by working with your teams to apply tools and methods in real time.
 
Over 5 days we will work together to  analyse customer data and research, your systems and failure points, frame the opportunities for innovation, develop solutions for prototyping and test with customers.

Working with your teams at your location or external venue, we will conduct this live sprint with your teams on your challenges and opportunities. 

 

We will conduct service discovery sessions, meet customers, build prototypes and test them during the 5 day learning sprint. Learning the tools and methods in a real context with tangible and testable outputs focuses and motivates teams and provides repeatable skills for future challenge solving. 

 

A single team and challenge or a number of teams are feasible unto 25-30 people. This experience builds repeatable long-lasting skills for your organisation.

Overview

Taking a business unit, product team, use case or innovation opportunity, we will take a cross business team through a full 5 day sprint to visualise real solutions for your organisations. This requires commitment but leads to usable solutions and ideas. 


Day One:

Discovery Day -  Introduction to Service Design and Research analysis.

Following a level setting into Service Design on how it works, we will bring customers, data and user insights together with system and stakeholder mapping to create an understanding of the current challenge. 


Day Two:

Frame the challenge day

Creating journey and systems maps we will identify pain points and opportunities and develop a hypotheses and brief of how to move forward.

Day Three:

Creativity and the North Star

Creativity: using idea sessions and creating target experiences, we will identify our core ideas and design prototypes. 
 

Day Four:

Prototyping

Prototypes will be built ready for testing. Key propositions and features can be developed. 

Day Five:

Usertesting

Working with your own or external user testing agencies, we will test proposition, design concepts and features as appropriate with target users/ customers. The findings will be shared at the start of the following week and a wash-up session will support the team to the next actions.
