We are Anja Klüver and Clive Grinyer, two designers who have started design companies, led design teams and trained countless people around the world. We’ve decided to work together on a new venture doing something we really love: helping individuals and teams use the tools of service design to solve the challenges of now and grasp the next opportunities of the future. 

 

We’ve called our company now+next as we think it captures the value of using service design to solve the sorts of issues we have every day, and in setting direction for the challenges that are ahead. 

 

To launch now+next, we are holding an “open session” in January: an online masterclass where people from many different organisations will work together to use service design tools to solve challenges that they share in their daily working lives. Across four days, from 9-12.30, starting on Friday 17th, continuing Monday 20th, Wednesday 22nd and concluding on the Friday 24th, we will take you through the methods and tools in an engaging, practical, inspiring and fun experience. We have created now+next not as a consultancy that does the job for you, but one that develops the skills and confidence in your people across your organisation to collaborate and create together. We share the successes and the failures, the methods and the tools, give you the experience of using them and mentor through projects to success. 

 

To do this we have put together a range of educational experiences, from Executive Briefings to workshops, Masterclass training sessions over 2 days or 8 weeks, mentoring, advising and working on real projects that develop the skills and culture of your organisation.
